Richard is the Chief Operating Officer of VPS Group, appointed in January 2026 following a successful tenure as Chief Financial Officer. He joined VPS in July 2018 as UK Finance Director and became Chief Financial Officer in January 2019.
His role at VPS extends his established partnership with Lee Newman (VPS CEO), having previously worked together at Wolseley and Algeco, and now at VPS.
Richard began his career at Alstom before joining Jewson, where he held a series of finance roles over thirteen years. He then moved to Wolseley UK – Pipe & Climate Center as Finance Director, before joining Elliot Group, the UK’s leading provider of relocatable buildings, where he was appointed Chief Financial Officer.
